About Programme
|
This program is 240 ECTS and 164 local credits 4-year first level ( Degree ) is a program . In addition, students can take an optional one-year preparatory education in English , but this is not a normal part of the process of education.

History
|
The Department of International Business within the Faculty of Business was established in the 2012-2013 academic year and received its first students in 2012. Currently, there are 221 students and 4 faculty members in our department.

Qualification Awarded
|
>The Bachelor s Degree in Public Relations and Publicity (first cycle in Public Relations and Publicity) is awarded to the graduates who have successfully completed all courses in the curriculum.
|
Admission Requirements
For Turkish Citizens:
(1) High School Diploma, (2) Placement through a centralised, nation-wide student selection and placement examination organized by Assessment, Selection and Placement Centre (ÖSYM). Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their composite scores consisting of the scores on the centralized exam and high school grade point averages.
For International Students:
(1) High School Diploma and its "Certificate of Equivalency” granted by the Turkish Ministry of National Education (MoNE). (2) Exam for International Student (YÖS) or international university entrance examinations such as SAT I, ACT, etc., recognised by the national authority in higher education, the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their scores obtained from YÖS or equivalent exams.

Higher Grade Transition
|
Upon successful completion of this programme, students may apply to second cycle degree or directly to integrated third cycle (doctorate) programmes.

Graduation Requirements
In order to qualify for the award of Bachelor’s Degree, the student must complete
-all courses in the curriculum,
-a minimum CGPA of 2.00/4.00 (50/100) and 240 ECTS and no failing grades.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
|
As a result of both theoretical and practical skills and experiences gained during university training, our graduates of International Business Programme have the opportunity to work in many areas in both national and international markets. In this context, they are employed in the departments of foreign trade, accounting, finance, production, human resources, logistics, management, marketing of national / international companies, including international organizations such as the World Trade Organization, the UN, banks and professional organizations such as the chambers of commerce and industry. Besides, they are also employed in the public sector. In this sense, they can work in Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade, Undersecretariat of Treasury, State Planning Organization, Turkey's Foreign Agencies, economic development agencies etc

Assessment and Grading
|
The exams are conducted by the Dean's Office as stated in the "Karabük University Associate Degree, Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations".
