About Programme
|
Muhasebe ve Vergi Bölümünün amacı; öğrencileri, kamu ve özel sektörde mesleki yeterliliklerle uluslararası bakış açısı ile donatmaktır. Öğrencilere, kendi alanlarında hem teorik hem de uygulamalı bilgi verilmesi, bunun yanı sıra iş dünyasında mezunların kendi kendilerine iş yapabilme kabiliyeti verilmesi, iş analizi yapabilme becerilerini kazandırma hedeflenmektedir. İki yıllık ön lisans düzeyinde eğitimini tamamlayan Muhasebe ve Vergi Bölümü öğrencisi kamuda ve özel sektörde meslek yasasına tabi bürolarda ara elaman olarak çalışabilmektedir. Ayrıca kamu kurumlarının idari ve mali işler bölümlerinde çalışabilmektedirler. Ayrıca yasal şartları yerine getirebilmeleri halinde bağımsız serbest muhasebeci ve mali müşavir olabilme imkanlarına sahiptirler. Program 4 yarıyılda 120 kredilik (AKTS) zorunlu ve seçmeli derslerin başarılmasıyla tamamlanmaktadır. Ayrıca 30 iş günü staj çalışmasını tamamlama zorunluluğu bulunmaktadır.

History
Vocational school located in World Heritage City of Safranbolu which holds the best examples of the Ottoman architecture, was established on 05.01.1992 on a building which belonged to Safranbolu Municipality. In its early days, it is served as a part of Hacettepe University Zonguldak Engineering Faculty. With the establishment of Zonguldak Karaelmas University on 11.07.1992, school became a part of it. Our school was connected to Karabük University, which was established on 29.05.2007, went on education under the name of "Safranbolu Vocational School" until May 2021. With the decision of the General Assembly of Higher Education dated 26.05.2021, the name of our school was changed to "Safranbolu Şefik Yılmaz Dizdar Vocational School".
Our program started education in 2000 within Safranbolu Vocational High School and still continues to provide education with 4 lecturer.

Qualification Awarded

The students who successfully complete the programme are awarded Associate’s Degree in Accounting and Tax Regulations.

Admission Requirements
For Turkish Citizens:
(1) High School Diploma, (2) Placement through a centralised, nation-wide student selection and placement examination organized by Assessment, Selection and Placement Centre (ÖSYM). Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their composite scores consisting of the scores on the centralized exam and high school grade point averages.
For International Students:
(1) High School Diploma and its "Certificate of Equivalency” granted by the Turkish Ministry of National Education (MoNE). (2) Exam for International Student (YÖS) or international university entrance examinations such as SAT I, ACT, etc., recognised by the national authority in higher education, the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their scores obtained from YÖS or equivalent exams.

Higher Grade Transition
|
Upon successful completion of this programme, students may apply to first cycle degree programmes in or a related field of the study and gain access to these programmes through a centralised, nation-wide Vertical Transfer Examination (Dikey Geçiş Sınavı).

Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate from this program:
•Weighted Grade Point Average (CGPA) should not be less than 60 out of 100.
•Must complete 30 working days training internship.
•Must have 120 ECTS credits and at least 64 local credits.
