About Programme

İç Mekan Tasarımı programının amacı, İç Mekan Tasarımı konusunda gerekli temel bilgi, beceriye sahip, evrensel ve bilimsel eğitimi temel alan, teorik bilgileri pratikle birleştirebilen, mesleğin gereklerini yerine getirebilen, alanında sorunları algılayan, çözüm üretebilen, teknolojik gelişmeleri izleyen, etik değerlere, takım çalışmasına ve sorumluluk duygusuna sahip İç Mekan Tasarım Elemanı yetiştirmektir.

History
The Interior Design Program founded in 2012 and admitted first students in 2013 year.
Qualification Awarded

Students who successfully complete this program are entitled to receive an Associate Degree in Interior Design.
Admission Requirements
For Turkish Citizens: (1) High School Diploma, (2) Placement through a centralised, nation-wide student selection and placement examination organized by Assessment, Selection and Placement Centre (ÖSYM). Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their composite scores consisting of the scores on the centralized exam and high school grade point averages.
For International Students: (1) High School Diploma and its "Certificate of Equivalency” granted by the Turkish Ministry of National Education (MoNE). (2) Exam for International Student (YÖS) or international university entrance examinations such as SAT I, ACT, etc., recognised by the national authority in higher education, the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their scores obtained from YÖS or equivalent exams.
Higher Grade Transition
Upon successful completion of this programme, students may apply to first cycle degree programmes in or a related field of the study and gain access to these programmes through a centralised, nation-wide Vertical Transfer Examination (Dikey Geçiş Sınavı).
Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate from this program, students:
• Weighted Grade Point Average (CGPA) should not be less than 60 out of 100.
• Must complete 30 working days training internship.
• Must have 120 ECTS credits and at least 64 local credits.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
The needs of the designer workforce needed in the enterprises and in the branches are met. Graduated students; Designers of furniture and decoration workshops can work as resting company designers, designers and architects in architectural and engineering bureaus, modeling bureaus, etc. as administrator, manager assistant, supervisor, controller.
Assessment and Grading
According to the content of the courses given in the program, there are model and project assignments in addition to the written and multiple-choice exams.
