About Programme
Goals: The goal of the program is to train students to have Information Security Systems and Solutions, Software Development, Software and Database Design, Database Management and Maintenance, Networking and Internet technology competencies to supply industry and service sector needs. Objectives: It is aimed to have graduates who(´re): Conscious about Ataturk s Principles and comprehend History of Turkish Revolution, Good at using Turkish language skills, Able to use mathematical skills in professional area, Able to use intermediate level of English, comprehend basic concepts of computer field, Able to take part on plan and design of software (in PC, Mobile, Network and Internet environment), able to be in teamwork, Comprehend software, installation and testing processes, Able to provide data storage and security, Use word processor, spreadsheet, presenter, database software and develop new applications by using their development kits, Able to diagnose and maintain common software and hardware failures, Comprehend expedition and installation processes of hardware, Able to recognize personal and network operating systems and use popular of them, Consider the professional ethic precautions.

History
There are 1 computer laboratories with the capacity of 40 students in total in the program.
Qualification Awarded
The students who successfully complete the programme are awarded Associate’s Degree in Information Security Programming.
Admission Requirements
For Turkish Citizens:
(1) High School Diploma, (2) Placement through a centralised, nation-wide student selection and placement examination organized by Assessment, Selection and Placement Centre (ÖSYM). Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their composite scores consisting of the scores on the centralized exam and high school grade point averages.
For International Students:
(1) High School Diploma and its "Certificate of Equivalency” granted by the Turkish Ministry of National Education (MoNE). (2) Exam for International Student (YÖS) or international university entrance examinations such as SAT I, ACT, etc., recognised by the national authority in higher education, the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their scores obtained from YÖS or equivalent exams.
Higher Grade Transition
Upon successful completion of this programme, students may apply to first cycle degree programmes in or a related field of the study and gain access to these programmes through a centralised, nation-wide Vertical Transfer Examination (Dikey Geçiş Sınavı).
Graduation Requirements
In order to qualify for the award of Associate's Degree, the student must complete
-all courses in the curriculum,
-a 30-workday (240 hours) industrial training period,
-a minimum CGPA of 2.00/4.00 (60/100) and 120 ECTS and no failing grades.

Assessment and Grading
Exams; mid-term exam, final exam, excuse exam, single course exam, level test and exemption exam, including six kinds. Exams written, oral, both written and verbal, homework or practical type. Upon the proposal of the departments, the exam program was made by the Dean's Office / School of Higher Education / Vocational School of Higher Education to be announced at the relevant unit web pages and boards at least two weeks before the appropriate images and exams. If there is any activity in a lesson, the content rate of the mid-term grade is calculated as 40%. While the general examination and the decision to do so, the content of the make-up exam grade is calculated as 60%.
