About Programme
Program of Physiotherapy Technicians for 2 years of education and training, science and technology developments in line with the concepts of basic physiotheray technicians knowledge, professional and sensitive to ethical principles. For this purpose, qualified physiotherapy technicians are in demand to ensure the future of Turkey and the world is targeted.

History
Physiotherapy Program has started officially in 2013-2014 academic year. It still continues with 314 student per year; 157 quota for daytime and 157.
Qualification Awarded
Program graduates are entitled to an Physiotherapy associate degree.
Admission Requirements
For Turkish Citizens:
(1) High School Diploma, (2) Placement through a centralised, nation-wide student selection and placement examination organized by Assessment, Selection and Placement Centre (ÖSYM). Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their composite scores consisting of the scores on the centralized exam and high school grade point averages.
For International Students:
(1) High School Diploma and its "Certificate of Equivalency” granted by the Turkish Ministry of National Education (MoNE). (2) Exam for International Student (YÖS) or international university entrance examinations such as SAT I, ACT, etc., recognised by the national authority in higher education, the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their scores obtained from YÖS or equivalent exams.
Higher Grade Transition
Upon successful completion of this programme, students may apply to first cycle degree programmes in or a related field of the study and gain access to these programmes through a centralised, nation-wide Vertical Transfer Examination (Dikey Geçiş Sınavı).
Graduation Requirements
To graduate from this program, students need to complete the lessons and credits already described in program schedule (minimum 100 hours or 120 ECTS) succesfully and get at least 2.00 GPA out of 4.00. Also, they have to complete their 20 days training period successfully.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
This program graduates, can work as physiotherapy technician at private or public hospitals, retirement homes, private branch centers, and spa cure centers.
Assessment and Grading
Every student has to register at the start ot the semester and attend at least %70 of theoretical courses and %80 of applied courses in order to be able to take final exams. Students have to take minimum 1 mid-term and 1 final exam per course. In the total grade, mid-term’s effect is %40 and final exam is %60. Students are required to take at least 50 points from the final exam. In order to gradute from a program, the student must have taken all the courses and complete them with the minimum 2.00 GPA score. To the ones who failed on those, they to repeat the courses with the score CB or under.
