About Programme
Aims to train qualified mechatronics engineers with the ability to successfully represent Turkey in all settings, equipped with the latest technological know-how. 
1.To educate the students successfully in the field of engineering by providing them with the ability of applying mathematics, science and engineering knowledge to mechatronic engineering. 
2.To give them theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to design the system, component and process in accordance with relevant standards and limitations as well as economy, efficiency, environmental and social impacts 
3.To enable students to gain the ability of analyzing and interpreting mechatronics engineering problems by identifying, formulating, modeling and analyzing necessary skills.
4.In order to achieve this purpose, students become able to use necessary modern engineering, computing and presentation equipments.
5.To graduate Mechatronics engineers pertinent to the standards of MUDEK.

History
As for the physical facilities, there are three classrooms and one Amphitheatre for the use of students. Classrooms are fully equipped with techonological facilities such as projectors and other tools. In addition, there are two computer laboratories, one mechanical laboratory, one materials laboratory, one Engine laboratory, one laboratory of Hydraulic and Pneumatic, one laboratory of electronics and logic circuits, one microprocessors and microcontrollers laboratory.
Qualification Awarded
Upon successful completion of all the courses in the curriculum, the students are awarded the Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering
Admission Requirements
For Turkish Citizens:
(1) High School Diploma, (2) Placement through a centralised, nation-wide student selection and placement examination organized by Assessment, Selection and Placement Centre (ÖSYM). Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their composite scores consisting of the scores on the centralized exam and high school grade point averages.
For International Students:
(1) High School Diploma and its "Certificate of Equivalency” granted by the Turkish Ministry of National Education (MoNE). (2) Exam for International Student (YÖS) or international university entrance examinations such as SAT I, ACT, etc., recognised by the national authority in higher education, the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their scores obtained from YÖS or equivalent exams.
Higher Grade Transition
Upon successful completion of this programme, students may apply to second cycle degree or directly to integrated third cycle (doctorate) programmes.
Graduation Requirements
In order to qualify for the award of Bachelor’s Degree, the student must complete
-all courses in the curriculum,
-an 8-week industrial training period,
-a minimum CGPA of 2.00/4.00 (50/100) and 240 ECTS and no failing grades.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Graduates of Mechatronics Engineering Program, Mechatronics Engineering Professionals, engineers at both local and global level will have the ability to produce science and technology. Mechatronics Engineers, businesses that are used with machinery and electronic devices. These engineers can also be used in maintenance and repair work in various plants and industrial enterprises, or in automation work in the service sector. Students who complete this program also have the opportunity to set up their own businesses for the small-scale automation and information industry.
