About Programme
The first objective of the program of Physical Education and Sports activities in all sections of society to grow and spread, to allow the growth of healthy generation, college students through athletic activities and physical, mental, emotional and social development by providing the best ways to increase academic success and healthy is to lead the training of generations. University students use their free time effectively is one of the goals of allowing students to avoid bad habits to acquire.

People living in Karabuk in the province by providing awareness of the benefits of Physical Education and Sport, at the university to participate in physical education and sports activities, hence the integration of the university and the people of Karabük and to allow the training of healthy societies.

History
1 gymnasium in the campus, 2 outdoor tennis court and 1 outdoor basketball court. Howewer the Centers for Youth and Sports, which is connected to an indoor sports halls and football stadiums, there are posibilies and utilization.
Qualification Awarded
Upon successful completion of all the courses in the curriculum, the students are awarded the Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching of Physical Education and Sports
Admission Requirements
For Turkish Citizens:
(1) High School Diploma, (2) Placement through a centralised, nation-wide student selection and placement examination organized by Assessment, Selection and Placement Centre (ÖSYM). Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their composite scores consisting of the scores on the centralized exam and high school grade point averages.
For International Students:
(1) High School Diploma and its "Certificate of Equivalency” granted by the Turkish Ministry of National Education (MoNE). (2) Exam for International Student (YÖS) or international university entrance examinations such as SAT I, ACT, etc., recognised by the national authority in higher education, the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their scores obtained from YÖS or equivalent exams.
Higher Grade Transition
Upon successful completion of this programme, students may apply to second cycle degree or directly to integrated third cycle (doctorate) programmes.
Graduation Requirements
In order to qualify for the award of Bachelor’s Degree, the student must complete
-all courses in the curriculum,
-a minimum CGPA of 2.00/4.00 (50/100) and 240 ECTS and no failing grades.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Graduates of this programme are employed as teacher of physical education and sports. In addition, they can also work in private and public organizations, private and public sports centres as coach.
Assessment and Grading
(1) Students are given a letter grade for each course at the end of the semester/year they are registered.
(2) This letter grade is appreciated by the instructor giving the course.
(3) In the appraisal of the success letter grade, the student's midterm exam, semester/end exam, success in studies during the semester and attendance to courses and applications are taken into consideration. The calculation of this letter grade is determined by the recommendation of the relevant academic unit board, the decision of the relevant board of the academic unit and the approval of the Senate.
(4) The success grade of the student is determined out of 100 full points. This score is called the raw achievement score.
(5) A student with a raw success score below 25.00 fails the course by getting a direct (FF) grade. The success grade of the student whose raw success score is 25.00 and above; The general situation of the class is evaluated with one of the letter grades whose coefficients and expansion are stated below, using one of the methods prepared with the decision of the University Education Commission and the approval of the Senate, taking into account the arithmetic averages and statistical distribution. After this evaluation, it is possible to have letter grade equivalents (FF) of raw achievement scores of 25.00 and above.

(7) A student who receives one of the grades (AA), (BA), (BB), (CB), (CC), (DC) and (DD) in a course is considered successful in that course. However, in order to graduate, the student's CGPA must be at least 2.00.
