About Programme
Architecture is a type of communication in where subjectivity and objectivity becomes together and from their asymmetrical dialog, the reality is achieved. Architecture is reflecting the world’s objective and subjective features in single veracity. Without getting strange to their era, it’s aimed for students to organize their living environment in order to preserve cultural continuity, to care human physiology, physical and social requirements without loosing contact with environment and nature. Additionally, while contributing economical construction and usage, they are aware of technological possibilities which sovereign by design conscious as well. It is also aimed to lead future in the created context.

Physical possibilities in Architecture department are 3 shared classrooms, 6 design studios, 2 shared computer labs., 1 photo lab., 1 study&modelling room 1 seminar room, 1 shared lecture hall
Qualification Awarded
Upon successful completion of all the courses in the curriculum, the students are awarded the Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
Admission Requirements
For Turkish Citizens:
(1) High School Diploma, (2) Placement through a centralised, nation-wide student selection and placement examination organized by Assessment, Selection and Placement Centre (ÖSYM). Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their composite scores consisting of the scores on the centralized exam and high school grade point averages.
For International Students:
(1) High School Diploma and its "Certificate of Equivalency” granted by the Turkish Ministry of National Education (MoNE). (2) Exam for International Student (YÖS) or international university entrance examinations such as SAT I, ACT, etc., recognised by the national authority in higher education, the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their scores obtained from YÖS or equivalent exams.
Higher Grade Transition
Upon successful completion of this programme, students may apply to second cycle degree or directly to integrated third cycle (doctorate) programmes.
Graduation Requirements
The students who study in the programme must fulfil the following graduation requirements to get the Bachelor’s Degree:
-all courses in the curriculum,
-a minimum CGPA of 2.00/4.00 (50/100) and 240 ECTS and no failing grades.
