About Programme

The aim of this program is to provide the students with the
highest theoretical and practical knowledge in contemporary management to
develop their skills in understanding, defining, analyzing and developing
solution methods and understanding complex situations and problems in
health-related business life. The program aims to enable graduates to become
leaders, managers or entrepreneurs in the business world.

Health Institutions Management non-thesis master’s program is provided in affiliation with Karabük University Institute of Graduate Programs, Department of Business
Qualification Awarded
The students who have successfully completed the program will be awarded with a Health Care Management Science Specialist
Admission Requirements
For Turkish Citizens:
First Cycle Degree diploma. Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their first cycle degree grade point averages.
For International Students:
First Cycle Degree diploma obtained from universities recognised by YÖK. Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their first cycle degree grade point averages.
Higher Grade Transition
This qualification does not give direct access to third cycle degree programmes. Graduates may apply to third cycle degree programmes after fulfilling the requirements for Master’s programme with thesis.
Graduation Requirements
The non-thesis master’s program consists of 30 national credits and at least ten courses, not less than 60 ECTS, and a term project course.

The time to complete the non-thesis master’s program is at least two semesters, at most three semesters, starting from the semester in which the courses related to the program he/she enrolled in, excluding the time spent in scientific preparation regardless of whether he/she has registered for each semester.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Graduated students have opportunity to work in public and private health institutions as managers and may find employment in administrative units of health-related NGOs and other similar organizations. The Ministry of Health and its affiliates, Social Security Institution and other public hospitals and organizations are employed as assistant experts and executive candidates. In addition to these organizations, graduated students also have job opportunities in pharmaceutical companies, businesses trading medical devices and materials and private health insurance institutions.
Assessment and Grading
The measurement and evaluation methods applied for each course are defined in the "Course Teaching Plan" prepared by the relevant instructor / s and included in the information package.

Exams, evaluations and grading are done according to Karabük University Postgraduate Education Regulation.
