About Programme
By using wisely acquired information with studying lesson, making experiment and practicing from Mathematical and Natural Science courses, for presenting materials of nature,forces of nature to benefit of mankind, growing engineers, who develop economic methods.
Mathematics, science and engineering informations to Electrical - Electronics Engineering problems by gaining ability of practicing ,preparing students to a successful engineering career.
To gain theoretical and practical knowledge for designing a system, product component and process in accordance with relevant standards and limitations and also by taking into account environmental and social impacts.
For this purpose, providing that students can use necessary modern engineering, computing and presentation gears.

History
Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in 2009. In the 2010-2011 academic year, I. and II. in 30% English and 100% English programs. undergraduate education was started. Undergraduate programs had their first graduates at the end of the 2014-2015 academic year. Master's and doctorate programs were also accepted by YÖK in 2009 and the first graduates of the master's program were given at the end of 2011.
Qualification Awarded
Upon successful completion of all the necessary courses in the curriculum, the students are awarded Master s Degree in Electric-electronic Engineering.
Admission Requirements
For Turkish Citizens:
First Cycle (Bachelor's) Degree diploma, (2) A minimum score of 55 in the Examination for Academic Personnel and Graduate Studies (ALES) or equivalent international examinations scores for graduate-level programmes such as GRE, GMAT, etc., recognised by YÖK. Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their composite scores consisting of the scores on ALES and first cycle degree grade point averages.

For International Students:
First Cycle Degree diploma obtained from universities recognised by YÖK. Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their first cycle degree grade point averages.
Higher Grade Transition
Upon successful completion of this programme, students may apply to third cycle programmes.
Graduation Requirements
In order to qualify for the award of a Master’s Degree, a student must have completed
- 7 courses with minimum 21 local credits,
- one seminar and pass its oral examination,
- submission of a M.Sc. Thesis and pass its oral examination,
- 120 ECTS and no failing grades.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
This degree is an academically oriented degree and enables the graduate to exercise his/her profession in or a related field of study and/or in research.
Assessment and Grading
It is carried out within the framework of the Measurement and Evaluation criteria of the Regulations of the Karabük University Graduate Education Institute.
