|
Bu programın amacı, bireylerin tüm gelişimsel basamaklarında ruh sağlığının korunması ve geliştirilmesi, ruhsal bozukluğu olan birey ve ailelerinin tedavi ve bakımı, rehabilitasyonuna yönelik olarak bu programa başvuran öğrencilerin bilimsel bilgi ve becerilerini geliştirmek ve bu alanda uzmanlaşmış hemşireler yetiştirmek amaçlanmaktadır.

Qualification Awarded
|
Students who complete this program receive the title of science specialist in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing.

Admission Requirements
Student admission and registration conditions in Karabuk University Graduate Education and Exam Regulations will be valid.
a) To have a Bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences/School of Health, Department of Nursing.
b) To get at least 55 standard points in the point type of the program applied from the Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES) conducted centrally by OSYM. The scores obtained from similar exams at international level, which are accepted as equivalent to this exam, can be accepted by the Institute Administrative Board instead of the ALES result. Equivalency of undergraduate diplomas obtained from abroad, to be approved by the Council of Higher Education
International student candidates are accepted to graduate programs in accordance with the admission, application and registration guidelines.

Graduates can apply to doctoral programs in nursing.

Graduation Requirements
|
According to the Karabük University Postgraduate Education and Training Regulation, the student must be successful in the thesis defense exam and meet other conditions for graduation determined by the institute's board of directors.
|
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
|
Graduates of the program can work as a nurse, manager nurse, supervisor nurse, coordinator nurse, and academician in universities with the title of mental health and psychiatry nurse in public or private health institutions.
