About Programme
Following the scientific and technological developments in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation, gaining advanced and deep knowledge, skills and attitudes in education, research and applications, integrating their knowledge with clinical and scientific studies, interpreting the results, continuing learning throughout life, and contributing to education programs related to physiotherapy and rehabilitation. To train specialist physiotherapists at national and international level.

History
Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Master's Program affiliated to Karabuk University The Institute of Graduate Studies started teaching as of the 2019-2020 academic year and received its first students in the spring term.

Qualification Awarded
Graduates who successfully complete the program are awarded a master's degree in the field of "Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation".

Admission Requirements
For Turkish Citizens: First Cycle (Bachelor's) Degree diploma, (2) A minimum score of 55 in the Examination for Academic Personnel and Graduate Studies (ALES) or equivalent international examinations scores for graduate-level programmes such as GRE, GMAT, etc., recognised by YÖK. Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their composite scores consisting of the scores on ALES and first cycle degree grade point averages.
For International Students: First Cycle Degree diploma obtained from universities recognised by YÖK. Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their first cycle degree grade point averages.

Upon successful completion of this programme, students may apply to third cycle programmes.

Graduation Requirements
Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation master's program with thesis consists of at least 7 courses, not less than 21 credits, a seminar course, a specialization course and a thesis. It is obligatory to take the Scientific Research Methods and Ethics course during the semester. A total of 120 ECTS credits must be completed for graduation, provided that at least 30 ECTS credits are taken each semester.

This degree is an academically oriented degree and enables the graduate to exercise his/her profession in or a related field of study and/or in research.

Assessment and Grading
(1) The success grade is calculated by taking 40% of the midterm exam grade and 60% of the general exam grade. (2) In order for a course to be considered successful, both the general exam grade and the passing grade must be 100. Must be at least 65 over. (3) Seminar course, specialization, proficiency course, thesis and graduation project pass (G) or fail (F) evaluated as. (4) The student can take another course instead of a failed course.
Notes According to the success grade evaluation result, the student is given one of the following letter grades: EVALUATION Score Letter grade Coefficient Coefficient 90-100 AA 4.00 4.00 80-89 BA 3.50 3.50 70-79 BB 3.00 3.00 65-69 CB 2.50 - In addition, the following letters are used for evaluations other than the letter grades in the chart: G: (Pass) Awarded to a student who is successful in a non-credit course by fulfilling the course requirements. K: (Fail) Given to a student who fails to meet the requirements of the course in a non-credit course F1: Given to the student who does not fulfill the attendance requirement, the student's right to take the exam/exams there is none. F2: Given to students who do not take the exam. F3: Given to students who took the exam but failed.
