In case of more than one midterm exam, the arithmetic average of these is based on the midterm exam grade. The student is required to take the general examination of all the courses that he / she has received in the semester and at the specified date and time determined by the Institute. Students who do not take the exam are given an F2 grade. Final exam may be in the form of evaluating the term paper prepared in accordance with the thesis writing guidelines of the Institute. Criteria (such as mid-term, project, homework and final) and course-end impact rates are clearly stated at the beginning of the semester and / or published on the website. According to the student regulations and academic calendar, the final exams are made at the dates and places determined and announced by the university. The final grade of the student is given by the instructor according to the results of the midterm, project, homework and final exam. The success grade is obtained not only from the general exam evaluation, but also by evaluating the student's midterm and midterm exams together. The contribution of the midterm results to the final grade of the midterm results is determined by the relevant Graduate School Administrative Board, between 40% and 60%. The regulation on the assessment and grading system can be found at http://oidb.karabuk.edu.tr/yonetmenlik/lisansustusinav.pdf. In order for a course to be considered successful, both the general exam grade and the success grade must be at least 65 at the graduate level and at least 75 at the doctoral level. The seminar course, thesis work and final project are evaluated as successful or unsuccessful. The final exam grades are entered into the student information system within the period specified in the academic calendar and the results are delivered to the Institute within fifteen days at the latest as of the end of the general examinations.
