About Programme
The master program aims to provide to students specialization, analysis and to strengthen the producing academic publishing in the related field.The main purposes of Public Administration master program are:
1)to provide academic formation
2)to transfer of the intelligence and accumulation of knowledge about Public Administration.
3)to complete preparation phase to doctorate study.
4)to bring the ability of comment and analyse the issues about Public Administration and its main fields.

History

The lessons in the Master of Public Administration Program are given both in the classes and seminar rooms.In addition, the public administration master s degree program has the technological equipment which is necessary for teaching processes.

Qualification Awarded
|
Upon successful completion of all the necessary courses in the curriculum, the students are awarded Master s Degree in Public Administration.

Admission Requirements
For Turkish Citizens:
First Cycle (Bachelor's) Degree diploma, (2) A minimum score of 55 in the Examination for Academic Personnel and Graduate Studies (ALES) or equivalent international examinations scores for graduate-level programmes such as GRE, GMAT, etc., recognised by YÖK. Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their composite scores consisting of the scores on ALES and first cycle degree grade point averages.
For International Students:
First Cycle Degree diploma obtained from universities recognised by YÖK. Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their first cycle degree grade point averages.

Higher Grade Transition
|
Upon successful completion of this programme, students may apply to third cycle programmes.
|
Graduation Requirements
In order to qualify for the award of a Master’s Degree with thesis, a student must have completed
- All courses with minimum 60 credits,
- One seminar and pass its oral examination,
-A thesis and to defend it sucsessfully,
- Minimum GPA of 2.50/4.00 (65/100) and 120 ECTS.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
|
Students who graduate from the program can work at all the government institutions, private sector enterprises, local governments as a manager, specialist, researcher, administrative staff and administrative judge. At the same time they can continue their academic career and education in abroad.
