About Programme
|
The realization of the objectives of the Turkish Education System depends on the organization and management of schools to meet the requirements of the age. However, in order to operate the system effectively, professional managers equipped with managerial and leadership knowledge and skills are needed. The main reasons for the needs of qualified school administrators are as follows; (A) rapid technological, social, political and educational reflections of economic development, (b) have received postgraduate education of the majority of education in developed countries managers and supervisors and to be felt this need Turkey as well, (c) will manage the teachers and the people who control at least until they training requirements.

Qualification Awarded
|
A student who has successfully completed the Master of Science (MSc) Program in Educational Administration is awarded with the “Educational Management Specialist”.

Admission Requirements
For Turkish Citizens: First Cycle Degree diploma. Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their first cycle degree grade point averages. For International Students: First Cycle Degree diploma obtained from universities recognised by YÖK. Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their first cycle degree grade point averages.

Higher Grade Transition
|
This qualification does not give direct access to third cycle degree programmes. Graduates may apply to third cycle degree programmes after fulfilling the requirements for Master’s programme with thesis.

Graduation Requirements
Student must complete the required course load (30 credits) with a CGPA of at least 3.00/4.00; and successfully prepare and defend term project.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
|
Graduates serve in primary and secondary schools connected to the Ministry of National Education as an expert in institutions and organizations such as the Ministry.
|
Assessment and Grading
|
There is an obligation to attend the program. Students who are absent for 30% of the total semester hours are considered to be absent and fail in the related course. The grades are determined on a quarterly basis. 40% of midterm exams; 60% of the final exam is determined by passing the grade. Applications are evaluated as a result of the applications they are responsible and reporting of these applications.
