About Programme
Our aim as Waste Management Program - Able to generate ideas in the solution of wastes - Know and apply quality systems - Be able to provide consultancy in the solution of environmental problems - Able to prepare an Environmental Impact Assessment Report - Be able to serve as a manager or employee in waste disposal facilities - Be able to serve as an academician - Able to produce projects in the prevention of environmental pollution or in existing projects - To train environmental engineers experts who can cooperate with other disciplines and provide coordination when necessary. The goal of the Waste Management Master and Doctorate Program; 1. To provide a comprehensive and functional graduate education program equipped with basic and up-to-date information in the field of Waste Management, 2. Basic mathematics, science, natural sciences, ecology, basic engineering, applied engineering, computers, foreign languages ??required for professional career in Waste Management , economy, environmental law, sustainable development, design and project design, to train graduates who have general and special knowledge, 3. Have gained the basic scientific knowledge required for application and research in the professional field related to Waste Management, have the knowledge and skills to study, experiment and apply; To train graduates who can analyze, synthesize, design and project, 4. To train graduates who can use existing technologies and to produce new technologies, 6. To train practitioners, determined graduates who have adopted lifelong learning, research, examination and development in professional fields.

Our master and doctorate program started to accept students in 2018.

Our graduates will have Msc degree in Waste Management Program.
Admission Requirements
For Turkish Citizens:
First Cycle (Bachelor's) Degree diploma, (2) A minimum score of 55 in the Examination for Academic Personnel and Graduate Studies (ALES) or equivalent international examinations scores for graduate-level programmes such as GRE, GMAT, etc., recognised by YÖK. Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their composite scores consisting of the scores on ALES and first cycle degree grade point averages.

For International Students:
First Cycle Degree diploma obtained from universities recognised by YÖK. Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their first cycle degree grade point averages.
Higher Grade Transition
Upon successful completion of this programme, students may apply to third cycle programmes.
Graduation Requirements
In order to qualify for the award of a Master’s Degree, a student must have complated
- 7 courses with minimum 21 local credits,
- One seminar and pass its oral examination,
- Submission of a M.Sc. Thesis and pass its oral examination,
- A minimum CGPA of 2.50/4.00 (65/100) and 120 ECTS and no failing grades.

Graduates can acquire professions in related fields.
Assessment and Grading
1 mid-term 1 final exam are applied each semester
