About Programme
|
With Manufacturing Engineering program students are able to develop their knowledge about manufacturing engineering, welded manufacturing,casting, machining, mechanical metallurgy, machine design and use this knowledge on practicle application and create new knowledge, solve complex problems that may ocur and develop new strategic approaches. They also should take in to consideration the scientific and ethical values, teach those values and evaluate the proficiency.Gaining to reach information and interpretation, doing investigation with supervisors support abilities.

History
|
With the establishment of Karabük University, the Manufacturing Engineering Master Degree program began.
|
Qualification Awarded
|
Upon successful completion of all the necessary courses in the curriculum, the students are awarded Master s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering.

Admission Requirements
For Turkish Citizens:
First Cycle (Bachelor's) Degree diploma, (2) A minimum score of 55 in the Examination for Academic Personnel and Graduate Studies (ALES) or equivalent international examinations scores for graduate-level programmes such as GRE, GMAT, etc., recognised by YÖK. Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their composite scores consisting of the scores on ALES and first cycle degree grade point averages.
For International Students:
First Cycle Degree diploma obtained from universities recognised by YÖK. Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their first cycle degree grade point averages.

Higher Grade Transition
|
Upon successful completion of this programme, students may apply to third cycle programmes.
|
Graduation Requirements
Students must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the Master's Degree;
• Students must have passed all credited courses with at least a CB letter grade, and non-credited courses with at least a G letter grade.
• They must have received 120 ECTS in total.
• General Academic Grade Point Average must be at least 65 out of 100 or at least 2.50 on a 4-point scale.
• Having successfully taught the seminar course.
• They must prepare a master's thesis and present it successfully.
