About Programme
Turkey has the ability to successfully represent each environment, equipped with the latest technological information, aims to train qualified computer engineers.

History
The Computer Engineering Department was established in 2008 and admitted undergraduate students in 2008-2009. Master's and PhD students were recruited in 2009.

Qualification Awarded
The Doctorate Degree (PhD) in Computer Engineering (doctorate) awarded to the graduates who successfully fulfil all the programme requirements.

Admission Requirements
For Turkish Citizens: Second Cycle (Master’s) Degree diploma with thesis, (2) A minimum ALES score of 55 or equivalent international examinations scores for graduate-level programmes such as GRE, GMAT, etc., recognised by YÖK. (3) A minimum score of 55 in accepted foreign language proficiency exams. Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their composite scores consisting of second cycle degree grade point averages, ALES and foreign language exam.
For International Students: Second Cycle Degree diploma with thesis obtained from universities recognised by YÖK. Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their second cycle degree grade point averages.

Graduation Requirements
In order to qualify for the award of a degree, a student must have completed
- 7 courses with minimum 21 local credits,
- one seminar and pass its oral examination,
- submission of a Ph.D. Thesis and pass its oral examination
- have had a minimum CGPA of 3.00/4.00 and 240 ECTS and no failing grades.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Students who have graduated from this department,university government agencies, private industry and technology software and hardware companies are employed for the various business sectors.

Assessment and Grading
(1) Success grade is calculated by taking 40% of the midterm exam grade and 60% of the general exam grade. (2) In order for a course to be considered successful, both the general exam grade and the passing grade must be at least 65 out of 100 at the master's level and at least 70 at the doctorate level. (3) Seminar course, specialization, proficiency course, thesis work and graduation project are evaluated as pass (G) or fail (F). (4) The student can take another course instead of a failed course.
