History
|
The Computer Engineering Department was established in 2008 and admitted undergraduate students in 2008-2009. Master's and PhD students were recruited in 2009.

Admission Requirements
For Turkish Citizens:
First Cycle Degree diploma. Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their first cycle degree grade point averages.
For International Students:
First Cycle Degree diploma obtained from universities recognised by YÖK. Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their first cycle degree grade point averages.

Higher Grade Transition
|
This qualification does not give direct access to third cycle degree programmes. Graduates may apply to third cycle degree programmes after fulfilling the requirements for Master’s programme with thesis.

Graduation Requirements
|
The student who successfully completes the credit courses and the term project is entitled to graduate from the non-thesis master's program.
|
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
|
Students graduating from this department are employed in universities, research institutes, various government institutions, software and hardware companies in the private sector, and various technology-oriented business lines.

Assessment and Grading
(1) Success grade is calculated by taking 40% of the midterm exam grade and 60% of the general exam grade.
(2) In order for a course to be considered successful, both the general exam grade and the passing grade must be at least 65 out of 100 at the master's level and at least 70 at the doctorate level.
(3) Seminar course, specialization, proficiency course, thesis work and graduation project are evaluated as pass (G) or fail (F).
(4) The student can take another course instead of a failed course.
